Implications of the Streaming Phenomenon: Disruption of Traditional Theatrical Distribution & Content Overload

In this report, I examined how the streaming era, as exacerbated by the pandemic, led to the disruption of traditional distribution modes. However, my research revealed that shorter theatrical windows do not compromise film success as traditionally believed. Instead, strategic marketing has proven to be of greater influence on a film’s success. Australian distributors can appeal to audiences’ five senses as a way to cut through content overload.

In everything that Alex does, he is tied down by his obligation to bring honour to his parents, especially his late father. One day, Alex’s class is informed of a brain dissection exam with one week to prepare. His fear of gore sends him into a spiral of anxiety and conflict. Is facing his fear of gore to satisfy his family’s traditional values worth it?
